Frequently Asked Questions

We understand that you may have questions about our treatments, so take a look at these frequently asked questions below, or call the team on 01455 203194 to find out more.

ftg FUSION operates an appointment-only system to ensure our clients receive our undivided attention and experience their treatment in privacy, and at a time that suits them. We are happy to offer weekend appointments and evening consultations.

No, the only similarity is that pigment is placed under the skin, but the techniques and results are very different. ftg FUSION uses the highest quality Finishing Touches natural inorganic pigments in shades that match perfectly with your natural colourings. The pigment is placed to create the most natural-looking result possible in the upper dermal layer of the skin. We also use specially designed Micropigmentation machines which operate differently to traditional tattooing tools.

The consultation appointment is designed for you to meet your technician, discuss your desired outcome from the treatment, and ask any questions you may have.

They will also discuss contraindications and your medical history, to ensure the treatment is suitable for you.

Your technician will sketch in detail the proposed outcome with cosmetic pencils – this sketch can be amended as many times as needed until you are completely satisfied with the suggested result. Your technician will also administer a sensitivity patch test to ensure you are not allergic to the pigments used for Micropigmentation.

The length of each appointment is dependent upon the treatment you’re having. As every treatment we carry out is bespoke to each client, your technician will discuss this with you at your consultation.

Everyone’s skin reacts differently to the treatment; for Scalp Micropigmentation treatments, up to four procedures may be required. This is why we book your treatments as a course, and after your first treatment, subsequent top-ups (treatment dependent) are included in your treatment course price. T&C apply.

Micropigmentation offers a semi-permanent result, and may fade over time although due to the nature of the treatment, some pigment is likely to always remain visible in the skin. Atftg FUSION we offer a 12-month guarantee in the depth of colour from the time of your final treatment in your course (T&C apply).

You can prevent premature fading by avoiding unprotected sun exposure (always wear a high SPF).

ftg FUSIONs’ technicians are all fully qualified and insured to offer your treatment. They have performed thousands of treatments worldwide, so you can be confident that you are in safe hands.

Our clinic is dedicated to aesthetic procedures and thus, we follow strict health and safety guidelines, using new and sterile needles for each client, and all machine parts are sterilisable. The pigments used are inert and inorganic.

ftg FUSION is registered with Harborough District Council.

During your consultation, we will discuss the cost with you ensure you are aware of the price of your treatment course. In most cases, the price you are quoted is for a course which includes your first treatment and follow-up appointments where necessary. At end of your course, your technician will advise whether future treatments may be necessary.

At ftg FUSION there are no hidden charges.
